Tor Awards Nomination 2025

I nominated a Market for 2025 Tor Awards. It was quick, I thought, "Aaah, which one should I nominate?", and one market appears in my mind, it's Catharsis Market, it's the best currently operating marketplace for drugs in Europe.

And suddenly it cramps up a bit in my eyes, and I hold back the tears because my mind went from "best currently operating market" to "best not anymore operating market" and the righteous and honest Archetyp Market admin that got busted in Barcelona this summer, and the circumstances, the arrest and the propaganda aftermovie made by the European police was not done by the book or anywhere close to how the police should do their job.

ASNT - stay strong

I send a prayer for Marc Hegemeister, more known as ASNT or YosemiteGhostWrite. Most likely still in Untersuchungshaft awaiting trial somewhere close to Berlin.

I guess it's ok to nominate Archetyp Market, even though it did not last the year out. I hope Marc can be proud whereever he is, and feel the love from all good he did while it lasted, also I hope that the police force responsible for the operation that led to the bust feels the shame and guilt and uses it to learn and become better from their mistakes and unjustice.

I also feel gratitude for Catharsis Market, which could be Archetyps little brother. Have you not already regged and tried that one, do it. You will not regret it, it will be the next Archetyp or even better in the near future, no doubt.

I send my mind back to where I was - the Tor Awards nomination.

After Tor Market nomination comes Best Crypto Service, then Best Community followed bby Best Tor Admin of the year and finally Best Vendor of the year. However if you only want to nominate a market then you can click pass on the rest, or skip some if you have no clue.

For the remaining I chose Trocador.app as cryptocurrency service because they charge low fees and I like that, Dread of course because it helps out a lot when people need information (and rumours), ASNT 🙏🏾 for Admin of the year and when I got to vendor I did not know. I clould have just click skip and be done but I saw that I could save it and complete it later with a referens number so thats what I did until I made up my mind.

Breaking the law

Because Im not really a very good law abiding citizen myself, I can admit that, I have ordered drugs on the darknet markets, and more than one time. Many more.

Never big quantities though and only for my own needs. Although occassionally, or maybe constantly, I end up sharing the drugs with my friends. But I have never asked for anything in return. Not because Im afraid of "selling drugs", it's because I really like offering a line or two, or be able to make someones night really great with both company and sides. Also they see me as the "expert", who knows how to get pure and good quality shit, and I have embraced that with all my heart.

So yeah, I thought it worth saving the 2025 nomination form and contemplate which of all the great darknet drug vendors should be nominated.

Vendor means drug dealer, right?

Also, stop! There is nothing on Torawards.com hinting that it should be a drug dealer that is nominated in that category. But, hmm.. I think it is what it is about? Yeah? Also, I guess, it could also be a great vendor for whatever, theres many. Like XMRBazaar. In either case I will nominate a drug vendor, just have to think for a while.

"Can you have a Tor Awards nomination on Clearnet, or should it be only on Tor, or should both be avaialble?", the dude who is running this project asked me.

-- I said yes, as long as the voting and nomination is easy and neat. Then he said something about maybe getting up a nomination mirror on an onion url next week. Let's see. As I understand, after the nomination process, there is going to be a voting process and something else and it all leads up to one elected winner in each category.
